We seek talented, enthusiastic, and customer focused individuals to join our Cherry Hill, NJ Branch as a Box Truck Delivery Driver. This person would work Monday-Friday, with a start time of approximately 6:00 am.
What You'll Do - Safely and efficiently operate company vehicles to deliver products to branches, customers, work sites etc.
- Secure truck contents for transport
- Load and unload products for customers
- Operate electronic devices (Eclipse software, GPS, electronic signature capture device, smart phone etc.) to perform daily work
- Provide excellent customer service by interacting with customers professionally and enthusiastically
- Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies to ensure safety of yourself and others on the road
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Report any vehicle maintenance or safety issues to appropriate personnel
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle
- Adhere to health & safety policies and quality standards
- Willing to work some overtime when needed
Required for Success - Valid Class C License
- DOT Medical Card or the ability to obtain
- Two years box truck driving experience
- Clean driving record
- Ability to use Eclipse software and related electronic devices
- Physically able to lift, carry, move etc. products up to 75 pounds regularly and heavier items occasionally
- Ability to communicate successfully with leads, supervisors, coworkers and customers as required
- Excellent customer service skills
- Be detail-oriented
