No experience is necessary - we'll train you! This is a great part-time job if you need flexibility during the day. Our Call Center Representatives are a big reason we have 100+ successful blood drives each month. Your work will save lives! JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for placing outbound calls for scheduling donation appointments, appropriately directing incoming calls, and providing information on The Community Blood Center's programs, services, and special blood needs. SCHEDULE: - 24 hours/week, shifts range between Monday - Friday, 2pm - 8pm; Saturday, 8am - 1pm OR - 16 hours/week, shifts range between Monday - Friday, 3pm - 7pm or 4pm - 8pm; Saturday, 8am - 1pm ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties may be assigned): Utilize CRM System to contact existing donors and schedule them in the most convenient locations. Achieves individual performance expectations for appointments scheduled, show rate and customer service. Assists in achieving company goals for the fixed sites and mobiles. Use critical thinking to determine appropriate outcome of calls. Provides information as requested; transfer call(s) to the appropriate CBC personnel and maintains high quality customer service. Follows phone scripts as directed and incorporates all the key talking points used for call evaluations during conversations with donors. Conducts special donor recruitment projects at various locations and distributes CBC information and other related duties as requested. Complies with all policies and procedures as outlined in the CBC Employee Handbook, CBC SOPs, or directives upon assignment. Maintains job-related skills by attending team meetings and training sessions and reading publications. Performs other duties as directed.

JOB QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

Professional, polite, and confident manner while making multiple phone calls per hour. Previous call center or appointment setting experience is a plus! High School diploma or equivalent preferred. Must maintain strict confidentiality of CBC and CBC donor information. Excellent organizational, oral, and written communication. Strong, flexible interpersonal skills and data entry/computer skills. Employees may occasionally be required to lift objects or materials weighing up to 25 pounds.
