Are you enthusiastic about supporting HR processes in a dynamic environment? Our provincial client is seeking a detail-oriented and service-driven individual to assist with various human resources functions on a temporary contract basis.

Responsibilities

As a vital member of the HR team, reporting directly to the HR Manager, your duties will include:

• Supporting the recruitment process by advising hiring managers, drafting job advertisements, and coordinating interview schedules.
• Assisting with employee onboarding and offboarding to ensure smooth transitions for all involved.
• Ensuring that all competition documents are comprehensive, complete, and compliant.
• Contributing to the review and enhancement of HR policies, procedures, and communications.
• Overseeing the preparation and submission of overtime and on-call reports for payroll processing.
• Providing general administrative support for various HR functions as needed.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of practical experience in Human Resources.
• Familiarity with HR functions, especially in recruitment, selection, and administrative support.
• Knowledge of HR regulations, policies, and relevant employment laws.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on customer service.
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Legal eligibility to work in Canada.
