Job Description

Title: Product Safety Specialist I

Location: Reynoldsburg, OH

Duration: 03 Months Contract

Responsibilities

Support clinical safety and efficacy testing execution PINK beauty categories
Receiving and shipping samples from contract manufacturers to testing laboratories
Scheduling testing at the labs and ensuring samples are received on time and testing is completed within the timeline of product developments
Support study protocol design, planning and execution at the testing labs in collaboration with the clinical research and safety management team including monitoring and auditing the labs as necessary
Summarizing results from the testing labs and working with cross-functional teams to ensure all the documentation is up to date for product approvals
Assist Safety team in developing CPSR (Cosmetic Product Safety Report), reviewing fragrances, bridging documentation, etc.
Update and maintain project trackers
Attend commercialization meetings that support product development execution

Qualifications/Capabilities

Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a STEM major with 1-3 years of experience in personal care/cosmetics or related industry
Strong communication and organizational skills
Demonstrates the ability to quickly learn new concepts, tools, and processes and effectively apply them in a fast-paced environment with multiple competing and changing priorities
Acute attention to detail and accuracy of work
Ability to physically come into our office to help receive and ship study samples and help with various tasks
