The Prospect Research Officer is an integral member of the Advancement Services team and performs a variety of duties for the Prospect Management and Research Office including: conducting prospect research; evaluating and maintaining gift officer portfolios; analyzing data and compiling reports used for gift solicitation; maintaining the research library and donor files; and providing back-up and support to other key research functions. Essential Functions include Prospect Management, Prospect Research, managing the Research Library, and General Support of Research Operations. Responsibilities involve maintaining prospect management systems, tracking gift officer portfolios, conducting research and analysis on donors and prospects, preparing research reports, managing the research library, assisting in training, and safeguarding confidentiality of donor information. The role requires a Bachelor's degree, 1-3 years of related experience, proficiency in MS Office, strong research and analytical skills, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The position is hybrid and full-time, located at Loyola University Maryland in Baltimore, MD.
