Position: Scrum Master
Description:
Role Overview: As a Scrum Master (Contract) at Data Ideology, you will act as a servant leader and coach for Agile teams, facilitating the implementation and understanding of Scrum and the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) across teams and departments. You will lead by example to enhance productivity, efficiency, and collaboration by applying Agile and Scrum principles. You will facilitate all Scrum ceremonies (PI Planning, ART Sync, Daily Stand-up/Team Sync, Sprint/Iteration Planning, Review, and Retrospective) to ensure alignment and communication. Working closely with Product Owners and Agile Release Trains, you will promote continuous improvement and foster a culture of empowerment and ownership of results.
Responsibilities: - Lead and coach Scrum/SAFe practices across multiple teams and departments.
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies to ensure team alignment and communication.
- Support the continuous improvement of team processes.
- Foster collaboration and promote open communication in cross-functional teams.
- Identify and resolve impediments and blockers for smooth project delivery.
- Manage team dependencies in partnership with other Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and stakeholders.
- Track and report key Agile metrics to measure team performance and project success.
Requirements: Education & Experience: - Bachelor\'s degree in a related field.
- 3+ years\' experience as a Scrum Master in Agile environments.
- Strong knowledge of Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) principles and practices.
- Excellent communication, coaching, and facilitation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Familiarity with Agile tools and practices (Azure DevOps, Jira).
- SAFe Scrum Master certification (SSM) or equivalent preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: - Strong facilitation and coaching skills; able to guide teams in complex situations.
- Problem-solving mindset with ability to address challenges and conflicts effectively.
- Data & Analytics experience a plus.
- Healthcare industry experience a plus.
