The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting vehicles and assisting motorists in need. This role requires a strong understanding of automotive diagnostics and repair, as well as excellent driving skills. The Flat Bed Tow Truck Driver must be adept at conflict management to handle challenging situations with professionalism.

Duties

• Operate tow trucks, including flatbed models, to transport vehicles safely.
• Conduct automotive diagnostics to assess vehicle conditions before towing.
• Load and unload vehicles efficiently while ensuring minimal damage.
• Provide assistance to stranded motorists, including jump-starts and tire changes.
• Maintain clear communication with dispatch regarding job status and vehicle conditions.
• Manage conflicts with customers or other drivers calmly and professionally.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on tow trucks to ensure safety and reliability.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.

Qualifications

• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is preferred.
• Experience in automotive repair or diagnostics is a plus.
• Proficiency in operating manual transmission vehicles.
• Strong conflict management skills to handle various customer interactions.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
• Previous experience as a tow truck driver or in a related field is advantageous.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of automotive systems.

Pay: $3,500.00 - $5,000.00 per month
